Chaluma Shasho, 38, is a devoted father of one, with another child on the way. Originally from Kefle Ha Ha, he came to Addis Ababa in 1999 seeking treatment for an eye condition. Despite numerous visits to various clinics, his condition worsened. With the support of his relatives, he eventually underwent surgery at a private hospital. Tragically, the operation left him completely blind.

His wife is the sole provider for the family, earning a modest income by selling coffee on the street. With a second child on the way, the family is facing severe financial hardship.

Your support through Destiny can make a life-changing difference for Chaluma and his family. Every contribution helps them take one step closer to stability and hope for a better future.

Aster Angegi

Her name is Esther. Although she does not know her exact age, she is estimated to be in her fifties. Esther was separated from her relatives and came to the city about thirty years ago. She accepted the Lord and became a Christian at Gima Kale-Hiwot Church. Later, she moved to Addis Ababa, lived near Kolfe, and became a member of Mulu-Wongel Church.

Esther was born in the countryside. She is uneducated, unmarried, and has no family, children, work, or property. Because of this, she has faced many hardships. Her eyesight and voice have weakened, and she has struggled in every part of her life.

Without a shelter and unable to pay rent, Esther was forced to sleep on the streets. This caused serious health problems. She pleaded with us for help, and we are committed to supporting her by covering her housing needs each month. Although her situation was difficult for others to manage, we listened to her with respect and agreed to continue guiding and supporting her in every way we can.
